Miranda Kerr Talks Labour and Childbirth with InStyle August 2011

Famous Aussie supermodel and mom Miranda Kerr flaunts her hot body in the August issue of InStyle Magazine Australia. Find out what Miranda has to say about giving labour naturally and more in the interview she gave the magazine!

Supermodel Miranda Kerr is flaunting her fabulous post-baby body on the cover of InStyle magazine, Australia, August 2011 issue and she looks amazing. Apparently pregnancy hasn't stopped Miranda Kerr from getting back on the runway just a couple of months after giving birth to her baby boy, Flynn, as the pounds seem to have just melted off, Miranda reaching her pre-pregnancy body rapidly and without too much effort.

However, labour didn't come as easy as Miranda now reveals, and decides to share her experience of giving birth naturally, without anaesthesia, to her 9 pounds baby boy. Although Miranda made it seem super easy, telling her fans via her blog that it was a “long and arduous labour” at that time, but now Miranda is sharing more light over the entire process of natural childbirth.

In the new interview with InStyle Australia, 2011, August issue, Miranda Kerr states that she thought she will die during labour. Miranda is a convinced naturalist, and peaches about the health benefits of an organic lifestyle, this being one of the reasons she wanted to give birth to her child naturally without any medication. It seems that giving birth naturally wasn't as easy as Miranda anticipated and says that:
“I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body."
“'I was looking down on myself - the pain was so intense. I kept thinking, "how do women do this?" But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined.”

Miranda has been modelling now for half of her life, her career having began at the early age of 13, after she has won a teen modelling contest. Her international fame came with her wings as she began modelling as a Victoria's Secret Angel, but career is now not everything in Miranda's life. According to her statement her priorities have changed so she is now “first wife and mother, then comes work.”

Although she's been working for half of her life, Miranda states she was not afraid pregnancy would affect her career and would have happily accepted not being in shape as long as her baby was healthy. She said:
“I have so much more that I want to do aside from modelling. I can live with my body not being in shape if I have a healthy son. It’s worth it”
But clearly there was no need for Miranda to be worried as she got back in shape immediately after giving birth, causing women all over the world to admire her for her body as well as courage of giving birth naturally.

Miranda enjoys being a mother and says that she and her husband, actor Orlando Bloom are hands-on parents, with equal duties and rarely have a babysitter. She admitted to have someone help out over the nights when Flynn was born but says now her helper comes less often as the baby is growing and sleeping more over the night.

Miranda takes her baby Flynn to work every time she can so they can spend as much time together as possible. Miranda has a beautiful family and definitely deserves admiration for her interest for the health and happiness of her loved ones.
